a new direction

- IMG_6043.JPG

During my many years of designing gardens and exterior spaces, I found myself spending a lot of time choosing furniture, sculpture and other elements for clients. If I couldn't find anything suitable I would design it and have it made, although I always wanted to be able to make it myself. Having spent the past few years undertaking formal study and learning the craft of working with timber, I found I have a passion for designing and making furniture for the interiors of my clients' homes.

My furniture builds on the design style of my gardens with clean lines, strong shapes and highlighting the materials, in this case timber rather than paving and plants. My wealth of experience in developing a client brief to create a garden to perfectly suit the owners now translates into my furniture design, enabling me to create furniture that works for you and suits the style of your home.
